I think summer tells more about us then any other time of the year. Think about it. During school everything is dictating for you. Unless you want to spend the rest of your life roller skating at Sonic (not that that's a bad thing, I did it for a year and a half) you have to study for tests, show up for class, and so on. But when summer hits you get to decide what you do. Lazy people do nothing; work-a-holics work 60+ hours a week; fun-a-holics do anything that sounds even remotely fun. I'm starting to think I'm a mixture of all of the above.
So what type of person spends an hour and a half stretching after pulling off an 11 hour day at a daycare. Then when you reach the deepest depths of boredom that you see how long you can hold a backbend. Of course I still don't know because Daniel wouldn't leave me alone, but I went longer then a minuet.
However, my summer is about to start. I'm headed to Grand View Christian Camp in Alpine Arizona. I have one day left of work and the rest of the summer will be spent counseling kids. I'm really excited and it's neat to see my whole family doing fun and amazing things. My dad and brother (and aunt) are off on a bike ride from Arizona to Washington D.C. My sister and brother-in-law are in charge of a ministry team for the rest of the summer. My little sisters are going to Disney land and my mom is graduating!
So what does that say about my family. Well right now we look crazy and adventurous I guess really only the end of the summer can tell. So I'm going to try to keep up with this blog for my beloved little kiddos at my old job, and for the campers I haven't even met yet. Happy summer to all of you and I hope you do fun and amazing things.

I can't wait to see how the Lord is going to do through and with all of you this year! It is an amazing journey! My prayers and blessings with you all! (and my how grown up you are now!)
